As a follower of Christ, we view giving as an act of worship and a response to God’s grace in our life. We give not out of obligation or pressure, but with a willing and grateful heart, as encouraged in 2 Corinthians 9:7. Our generosity reflects our trust in God’s provision and our desire to honor Him with what He has entrusted to us. We believe that "where my treasure is, my heart will be also" (Matthew 6:21), so we choose to invest in what has eternal value. Through giving, we participate in the mission of the Church—supporting the teaching of God’s Word, the growth of believers, and the outreach to those in need. We approach giving prayerfully and intentionally, seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit in both the amount and the attitude of our giving. Whether through tithes, offerings, or acts of generosity, our desire is to remain faithful, trusting God as our provider and living with open hands rather than a closed grip. Ultimately, our giving is an expression of love, faith, and obedience—an outward reflection of an inward commitment to follow Christ fully.
On the morning of April 26th, 2026, members of Appleton City Fellowship gathered at the shores of Appleton City Lake to witness and celebrate a meaningful time of baptism. The day was marked by clear skies and warm sunlight, creating a reverent atmosphere for all who attended. Friends, family, and fellow believers stood together, united in faith and support, as five baptisms took place.
The setting provided a beautiful backdrop for this sacred moment, with the movement of the water reflecting the energy of the day and the significance of the occasion. As each individual stepped into the water, there was a shared sense of joy and renewal among those present. Each baptism symbolized a public declaration of faith, a commitment to a new path, and a celebration of spiritual transformation.
It was a morning filled with heartfelt prayers, encouragement, and gratitude. The warmth of the sun seemed to mirror the warmth within the gathering, as smiles, quiet tears, and words of affirmation were shared. The experience left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance, serving as a reminder of hope, community, and the enduring power of faith.
Mark your calendars for these great events coming up.
